we spend 3 nights there,||it's a nice place for a few days stay. well located and enough parking lot to park your car.||the bedroom is ok, there is a kitchen to share available.||the only small inconvenients is there only 1 bathroom to share with 4 guests bedrooms. but it almost the same in most guesthouses.||The tenants are very kind and nice. I recommend that one.

Clean and light, close to centre and still quiet. I enjoyed my stay and I will definitely choose the same place next time! |Shared kitchen and toilet is sufficient for those 3 rooms - people only come and sleep here.|I appreciated possibility to park my car just outside the door and good wifi connection.

We spent here our first night in Reykjavik. We didn't really know what to expect, but on a first impression the guesthouse is ok as well as the owners. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, a shared kitchen and a shared bathroom. The bedrooms were nice and clean. The internet connection is not one of the best but the main problem was the line for the toilet...fine for short stays.

Very well located on Midtun in Reykjavik with Kronan the supermarket at less than 5 minutes walk and the main road, Laugavegur and the bus stop less than 10 minutes away. Owners are super and rooms extremely cosy. Cosy kitchenette allows us to heat up meals and have breakfast at the balcony.

Very nice. Rooms are clean and modern with a comfy bed, sufficient space, and large windows. Somebody was in every morning to tidy up the shared bathroom and kitchen area. Know going on that there's a shared bathroom for 4 rooms and the noise from the common area carries in to the bedroom.

This is very nice guest house, near of Reykjavik city center and close to the supermarket ( 2 minutes walking). The room is clean, large and very good. Also they provide all the stuff for cooking and towel in bathroom. The important is the owner is very friendly.

Throughly enjoyed our stay in Reykjavik and we stayed in this guesthouse for 3 nights and it was perfectly adequate. No frills but clean, functional, quiet and close to centre of reykjavik. Accommodation in reykjavik is pretty pricey but this guesthouse was excellent value and the owners were friendly and helpful. ||Wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here and would stay again if I was back in reykjavik!

Very nice guesthouse, owned by very kind people ! I really enjoyed my stay in this house (about 4 1/2 months) and it's a great opportunity to feel like home ! The rooms are modern and cozy and if you have any questions or issues, you can always ask the owners for help ! Thanks again for everything, you're great people !

Das Gästehaus hat viele Parkplätze vor der Haustür, der Besitzer empfängt einen sehr freundlich, die Bezahlung am besten bar. Unser Doppelzimmer ist zwar recht klein, aber die Koffer lassen sich prima in dem großen und geräumigen Schrank unterbringen, wodurch das Zimmer sehr aufgeräumt und gemütlich ist. Der Balkon lädt ein, dort zu essen. In der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und man erreicht alles zu Fuß. Wir sind 3 Nächte geblieben und waren sehr zufrieden.

The owners of the guesthouse are very kind and helpful. The neighborhood is quiet though only 5-10 minutes of walk away from the swirling city centre life, and only t10en minutes of walk to the biggest outdoor pool area Laugardalslaug. ||The rooms are fairly large, clean and cosy, and the kitchen is equipped so that you can cook your own meal. I had a wonderful time here.

Stayed here for 3 nights and found this was a well situated guesthouse - Icelandic "cheap" supermarket a 5-10 minute walk away and a nice scenic walk into Reykjavik via the waterfront. Found the shared kitchen area very clean and very useful - we cooked meals here every night (pans etc. available in cupboards) and shared the fridge with others rooms with ample space. There is also a balcony area off of the kitchen though we didn't use this. ||||There look to be four bedrooms though only three were inhabited when we visited. Our twin bedroom was also clean and well-kept with comfy beds and I found the Wi-Fi worked well for me. No problems with noise or light from outside although could here an extremely loud snorer in the neighbouring room one night! ||||The bathroom was kept clean, though when people shower it tended to leave the floor of the bathroom pretty wet. Only had to queue once or twice to use the bathroom as the guesthouse is pretty much used as a base for sleeping. I can imagine there being more queues if all rooms were in use though.||||Great value for the location and room. The owner was friendly upon arrival. Payment was preferred in cash so be on the look out for ATMs (we found one in the main bus terminal).

This was a great place if you plan on being active during days. Clean, comfy and nice hosts. Under 1/2 hour walk to City Center, Old Harbor and swimming center. |Kitchen with nearby grocery store can save you many kronas for meals. Most tours pickup at Galaxy Hostel 5 minutes away. |It’s a guesthouse so expect sharing bathroom and kitchen area. For the savings well worth it.
