Frábær staður og magnað umhverfi þvílík fegurð

Diciamo che non bisogna avere alte aspettative per questa location, ma sapersi accontentare ed adattare.
Abbiamo alloggiato nel cottage a sinistra della chiesa, con un gruppo vacanza di avventure nel mondo e che dire al primo impatto eravamo un po’ sciettici e leggermente inquietanti dall’ambiente esterno (chiesa, cimitero, sparsi nel nulla) ma alla fine si è dimostrato essere un ottimo alloggio qualità prezzo.
Sicuramente con tante carenze, un po’ vetusto e con tante cose da sistemare, ma pulito, con ampi spazi per ospitare tutti e un grande salone accogliente per tutti gli ospiti.

We stayed in the yellow cottage (we heard the green one is not as nice).
It's a very nice place with everything you need to cook meals and sleep comfortably. Heating and hot water work, decent internet speed, tv, and the best of all, in the middle of a sheep farm in the middle of nowhere. Quiet and picturesque. Kids loved to see the sheep and the hay bales!

Here is a detailed review.

There are many cottages very separated from each other. We booked the yellow (which is a house itself).

As some comments say, some cottages seem to be next to a graveyard. But others, like the yellow we booked, are relatively far away.

The "Reception" is the house that google indicates. Seems the owner's house. The owner had some old cars in that place. The ringbell was not working so you should knock the door (or call him - not whatsapp).

Bear in mind, internet books do NOT charge you at front. You should pay there and you can pay by card.

The cottage we rented (the yellow one) was 100 meters away from 2 other cottages. But at night you feel you are in the middle of nowhere totally alone - perfect to have amazing views of auroras (if the conditions are there) without light contamination.

But at the same time, if you are scared of "loneliness" you can feel a little bit of overwhelming. All rooms have curtains except for the entrance and kitchen and at night you don't see literally anything to the outside (unless there is moonlight or auroras). So take that in mind if you come with kids (that sleeps at the other room).

The house has 2 or 3 stairs to get in.

The house inside has many equipment:
Tv, good hairdryer, heaters all over the place, internet, microwaves, kitchen, fridge... Pans, dishes and material to cook.

The cottage had: 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each, kitchen, dinning room, bathroom and receiving. Relatively big.

The 2 bedrooms are very separated one to the other (they are not close). Second bedroom beds are vertical ones like "bunk beds" (one on top of the other).

The materials of the house look cheap, but there was no problem for me, I did not have any problem at all with anything (just saying that for some comments I see).

We woke up with some lambs around our field.

Esperienza terrificante
All’arrivo la struttura sembra di primo impatto pure carina ma poi ci si accorge delle enormi carenze che ha; in Italia, che per molti paesi siamo giudicati terzo mondo, questa struttura verrebbe chiusa immediatamente, ma dico proprio sigillata perché neanche come abitazione privata può essere agibile. Le dimensioni delle camere non sarebbero conformi neanche per gli gnomi; non parlo di superficie della camera che è piccola e come in altri casi si trova il modo di aprire una valigia magari nel corridoio, ma parlo di altezze in quanto nelle camere non si raggiungono i 2,2 mt, e la cosa paradossale è che hanno messo i letti a castello per cui più che letti sono loculi sui quali non si riesce a stare seduti . Inoltre gran parte dell’ostello sembra un ripostiglio con tutte cose ammassate.
Su tutte queste cose ci si potrebbe passare anche sopra ma altra cosa sconcertante è lo sporco e la puzza che c’è in questa casa, nelle camere e sui letti ;i bagni sono fatiscenti , sporco dovunque come se non venissero mai puliti, e gli insetti piccoli, probabilmente moscerini, sono ovunque per cui o vi portate uno scafandro oppure sarete costretti in piena notte ad abbandonare l’ostello e a dormire in macchina. Il proprietario o persona di fiducia del proprietario era in cucina alle tre di notte e sembrava noncurante della nostra richiesta di provvedere ad un insetticida o ad uno spray contro questi fastidiosissimi moscerini. Non hanno le zanzare ma sicuramente le zanzariere aiuterebbero molto.
Se non volete pagare per dormire in macchina e lo sconsiglio fortemente .

Beautiful location that this cottages are set in. The interior was a little dated, but it feels nice and cozy once it heats up with wall mounted heaters. The experience was very pleasing, besides the pillows being really hard and mildly uncomfortable. We weren't able to see the northern lights because of the clouds and heavy rains but I can tell on a sunny day it must be a stunning view.

La cabaña es amplia pero el olor a rancio es bastante intenso, está bastante sucia y hay radiadores que no funcionan. No es un lugar demasiado acogedor.

We got to the location but could not locate the cottage. Should have a signboard pointing to them as if you go past the graveyard it's a large hostel like building. We called for instructions and the owner drove up and led us to the accommodation, yellow cottage. It was a big place on the hill. 2 separate bedrooms with an attached bath and a lovely kitchen. Comfortable beds and heating was good through the house. Everything worked till the morning when I had to reset the modem/router to get re-connected to the WiFi and TV. Quiet place, warm and cozy. In the morning open the door to sheep grazing in the driveway and a great way to start the day with breakfast by the porch.
