Real disappointment. Sour staff. It took a very long time to make two lattés to go, even though there were only a few customers. One of the waiters got a cup ahead of me! Hello?! Not only that, but I paid almost 1400 krónur or 14 dollars for two very small cups of coffee. To top it all off I had a sip of my small expensive long awaited coffee in my car: IT WAS LUKE WARM.
Never again.

Virkileg vonbrigði. Fúlt staff. Tók svakalega langan tíma að útbúa tvo latté til að fara með, fatta það ekki því það var lítið að gera. Þau voru tvö við kaffivélina og stelpan sem var að þjóna fékk bolla á undan mér! Halló?! Ekki nóg með það heldur borgaði ég tæpan 1400 kall fyrir tvo mjög litla bolla. Smakkaði á mínum bolla í bílnum og viti menn: KAFFIÐ VAR RÉTT VOLGT! Of mikið mál að snúa við og mig langar heldur ekkerrt að stíga fæti aftur þarna inn eftir þennan rándýra horbjóð.

Reykjavik Roasters is a good local coffee shop. The atmosphere feels bright and surprisingly colorful. The staff did not put off the same vibe. They were on task and executed the orders with a robotic like precision. The coffee itself was pleasant but didn’t give me that first “wow” sip in the morning boost that I get at my favorite coffee shop. I still recommend it if you’re in the city and craving your caffeine fix.

The bakery welcomes you to take photos, it has the best cinnamon rolls. We bought 3 different pastries but the cinnamon roll was the first one to be finished. There was a line to get service but it moved very fast.

A proper coffee shop; no decaf, no syrups. Coffee and pastry were nice, over £12, however the service I received was not appreciated.
I only noticed something was not right after standing there and drinks arriving to those who came way after me. This happened because of a shift change I believe. When I thought it was my drink as she said flat white, I asked if it was oat. She stated no, it's normal and I said that I was waiting a while and other drinks were being served. She said, without looking at me, it's not your fault, it's not my fault, nobody told me. Fair enough but you can see I'm the only one standing there for a while.
Luckily kids were waiting patiently, the vibe inside is chill.
And then kids played outside in the open play area while I had my coffee and they shared their hazelnut chocolate croissant.

Good little coffee shop. Cappuccino was really good, WiFi fast, and nice ambiance. First coffee shop to open in the area as well which was nice.

Un café authentique sans sirop ni décaféiné, pour ceux qui aiment le vrai goût du café. Tasse puissante, grains de qualité. Nous avons pris le muffin caramel beurre salé en plus qui était excellent. L’endroit est cosy, calme, parfait pour une pause.

I love and appreciate the ‘No syrup’ sign they have at the register. If the coffee is good - you don’t want sweetener. They understand.
