Abbiamo prenotato una stanza per due notti in questa struttura, peccato che, ad una settimana dalla nostra partenza per l’Islanda, ci scrivono che la nostra stanza non è ancora stata costruita e che quindi dobbiamo cancellare la prenotazione; in poche parole i signore hanno preso più prenotazioni rispetto alle stanze che avevano e quindi sono andati in overbooking, noi avevamo un viaggio ben pianificato e questi qua per la loro mal organizzazione mandano all’aria il tutto ad una settimana dalla nostra partenza .
Gente poco seria e poco affidabile, lasciate perdere.

We recently stayed in the small onsite cabin for two nights. The cabin is very private and also super cozy and has everything we needed. There is a small fridge and two stovetop burners. A small table and comfortable bed and a big bathroom with a shower etc. The location overall is great and we were able to go to Vok Baths, the Reindeer Park, over the mountains to the nearby town with the rainbow road up to the church and also the nearby forest for a great walk - there are lots of other activities in the area too. So this is a great home base and very relaxing. We had an expensive coffee at the cafe and otherwise didn’t eat there so cannot comment but the staff seemed lovely. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This place was not well serviced . When we arrived in June the temperature outside and inside was 5 C. One radiator operated intermittently so heating was inadequate. The owner supplied us with another portable heater. It took 4 hrs to reach 16 C and another 2 hrs to reach 20 C. The bed was comfy and the shower nice. The refrigerator was warm with inadequate cooling. The kitchen had too many nonfunctional items and few useful items. The owners kept reminding us about the restaurant but could not tell us the price of the breakfast in advance. Overall, we were not pleased nicknaming the establishment "Mordor".

This was a hidden gem as far as stays go. We arrived at the farm - a fair distance from anything. We traipsed thru a lovely small bit of forest to be welcomed into a cosy, comfortable cabin. Everything we needed for a private and relaxing evening was there. Small kitchenette, sitting area, Very comfortable bed and clean bathroom with shower. We could wander safely around the property, and we prepared our own simple meal as the restaurant has its own lunchtime hours while we were there. Don’t expect a hotel experience- you check in and you are on your own . We loved it.

On our Adventure Canada Iceland circumnavigation, we toured this beautiful, inspiring organic farm with its owner. Although we didn't spend the night, we got a look at the comfortable guest buildings and a yummy taste of the preserves, crackers and other organic products produced here. The farm supplies some of the top restaurants in Iceland's main cities, and we learned a lot about the challenges of "boutique" farming. If we had been driving around Iceland, this would have been a lovely place to top for a few nights, surrounded by natural beauty and away from the usual tourist attractions.

We stayed in the lovely log cabin which is very comfortable and cosy (with a big bathroom and comfy beds). Waking up in the morning surrounded by nature and being able to eat the lovely breakfast and meals made with the organic products grown at the farm was one of the highlights of our stay in Iceland. Very warmly recommended!

Positive: Great location, close to nearest town but still secluded. Very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, the farm vibe is nice, my cabin was adorable and surrounded by trees and greenery so when looking out of the windows of the cabin you might forget that you were on a farm. Good food and organic produce that they make themselves, I recommend buying some. Staff was nice and helpful.. Negative: Nothing.

Il y a un chalet un peu en retrait de la ferme parmi les arbres, mais il faut savoir qu’il existe un autre logement spécial lilliputiens. Lorsque vous êtes logés dans ce dernier situé à l’angle de la ferme, le rapport qualité prix est tout simplement honteux. Pour ce prix vous dormez dans une « cuisine chambre » ! La table de camping coincée dans un angle de la pièce touche pratiquement le bas du lit. C’est plus pratique de s’asseoir sur le lit pour manger que d’être coincé sur une chaise entre le lit et la table. Au-delà de deux personnes, je ne sais pas comment on peut s’y mouvoir, surtout avec des enfants. Impossible de laisser les valises ouvertes car il n’y a plus l’espace nécessaire pour se déplacer dans la pièce. Un petit couloir dessert une chambre extrêmement étroite, fermée si vous n’êtes que deux. La salle de bain se situe au fond du couloir, certes tout y est, mais dans un espace tellement riquiqui que vous n’y trouverez aucun confort ni aucune prise en compte de votre bien être. S’agissant du petit déjeuner, si vous voulez partir avant 8h, vous pourrez demander un panier qui vous sera remis la veille. Je ne ferai pas de commentaire sur le contenu, tout le monde, et fort heureusement, n’ayant pas les mêmes goûts. Ce qui est certain c’est que pour le même tarif, vous trouverez mieux ailleurs
