Once in a lifetime experience kayaking with glaciers by your side. Guides were patient with everybody and knowledgeable. Had a great time here and the short walk on top of a glacier was the cherry on the top. No other tourists around which made this expedition a more intimate one 🙂
Go for it, no regrets for sure 👍🏼

Un moment complètement hors du temps, loin des zones touristiques.
Je n'aurai jamais pensé vivre un jour une expérience comme celle-ci. Naviguer au milieu des icebergs et même avoir le privilège de grimper sur l'un d'eux sera à n'en pas douter un des souvenirs les plus forts de ma vie.
Notre guide, B, a été fabuleux d'ingéniosité pour nous trouver des parcours de fou et nous prendre des photos exceptionnelles.
Je recommande à 2000%, beaucoup mieux que celles de Jokulsarlon.

Strong winds and an Atlantic Gyre broke our kayak plans on diamond beach, but Iceguide was able to promptly accommodate a switch to the Glacier Hike with an amazing guide. We unknowingly booked the most extreme glacier hike in Iceland but we are so glad the weather forced our plan change. We hike 5x higher than any other glacier hike tour and got to truly experience the breathtaking views from the top of an ice mountain on the highest volcano in Iceland! Our guide was so impressive with knowledge and blew us away with the best hike we could have dreamed of. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Highlight of my trip in Iceland!! Loved the experience so much. Made me feel like I was kayaking/hiking in Antarctica!

Asi and B were amazing guides, very knowledgeable and great to talk to. Veronika was extremely helpful and supportive in getting me rebooked for this tour after my one the day before at Jökulsárlón was cancelled (due to high winds).

They also have spare gloves if you happen to forget bringing some to Iceland (like me). Didn't end up using them, but it was nice to know I had some if it got cold 🙂

Overall, a really marvellous experience and definitely worth doing and prioritizing while you're in Iceland!

Great experience with ICEGUIDE. Winding through the glacier lake with awesome views every 5 minutes. Guys with patience, knowledge, humor, responsibility and doing the extra’s to make the experience more than great. Highly recommended. The weather they arranged was an absolute add-on, btw 🙂

Our guides were fantastic and very eager to bring us exploring around the lagoon. We traversed between many icebergs, got to kayak into a mini ice cave, and even walk on an iceberg. I didn’t bring proper gloves and one of the guides noticed and lent me his own pair - thank you so much! They also do a really good job of managing expectations as they explain how the changing water levels and temperature can change the lagoon-scape quickly, so they never know what they’ll actually see until we start exploring by kayak.

Although all of Iceland is breathtaking this tour was a once in a lifetime experience. Our guide Laurent was amazing. He went out of his way to ensure our whole group (of only 5) were able to experience every aspect to its full extent. His knowledge of the topography of the glacier, its formations, and history added to the awe of the experience. We were able to witness sights that the average tourist would never be able to experience. The extra effort of the hike was WELL worth it! I absolutely recommend this tour!!
