Hovendak is a distillery that makes great spirits and has a welcoming environment. It is family owned and operated and was a great stop on our honeymoon. Thank you very much for the tour. A great last day in Iceland 😀

All I can say is this is the best distillery tour I have been on and I'm Scottish, the host was the most down to earth and amazing host you could ask for, she made it so personal for us, if in Iceland I would highly recommend visiting this distillery.

In short: Great wine and a good selection, a journey for the taste buds and elegant packaging.

In other words: I am lucky enough to live in Iceland and enjoy the Icelandic wines that are produced by the various Icelandic producers and many find their way onto the market. Not all wines are created equal, but what has surprised me is how many good ones have come from Hovdenak Distillery and lucky me, tastem them all except for one, the Loki vodka but planning to.
Let's get one thing straight. I hate gin... or rather, I did before I was tricked into tasting Stuðlaberg. I'm not much for having my drinks mixed with soda so the drink was served straight up, with ice. Ridiculous... all of a sudden I thought gin was good, at least Stuðlaberg 😊
Coffee is a huge favorite of mine, so it's no surprise that Rökkvi Espresso Martini goes down well.
Last but certainly not least is the rum. I'm actually mostly into dark spiced rum, but Hvítserkur is possibly the best light rum that I've tasted.
A ltle bird told me hat there is going to be a dark rum released and I can hardly wait 😊
If you want a tast of quality in Icelandic spirits give these a try. It will not dissapoimt you.

Where to start, this amazing Distillery is professional in what they are doing, their product is with out a doubt one of the best in the world, best quality and making. Recommend above everyone else. You guys will absolutely not be disappointed.

My o my... This is what one would call perfection, the distillery, the owner, the brain/man behind the whole mechanism. The tour on it's own is amazing, just be ready for the Magic of Hovdenak. Perfect gift or just treat your self.
