Herbergið var ekki vel þrifið, ryk og hár. Lítið og þröngt herbergi, rúmin ekki fest saman. Mjög léleg loftræsting, heitt og mollulegt því úti var sólskin, ónæði frá bílaumferð. Morgunmatur mjög metnaðarlaus og fábreyttur.

Þriðja árið í röð kom ég sem gestur og tók þátt í "Bara ég og stelpurnar" sem er gönguskíðanámskeið fyrir stelpukonur. Eins og alltaf var allt til fyrirmyndar. Hótel Horn er frábært fyrir hópa, fallega hannað, snyrtileg herbergi og "partý" sófi á ganginum. Maturinn var síðan á Hótel ísafirði. Maturinn var frábær, kennslan á dalnum til fyrirmyndar og bara allt sem við kom veru minni á Ísafirði var fullkomið!

Partiamo dai pregi: le camere sono abbastanza spaziose, la colazione è buona e la posizione è straordinaria. A questi elementi, però, fanno da contraltare alcuni difetti notevoli: il check-in si fa in un altro hotel, l'Isafjordur Torg, che è molto mal indicato (cercate la parola Logn, il nome del ristorante nel quale poi farete colazione, e lì troverete la reception). Il parcheggio è solo lì, quindi anche sotto la pioggia bisognerà percorrere a piedi i 300 o 400 metri che separano dall'ingresso dell'Horn. L'ingresso, poi, è un po' da film dell'orrore: un atrio spoglio dà l'accesso a un montacarichi che funziona tenendo premuto il pulsante (e che in assenza di altri ascensori è l'unico modo per non portare a spalla i bagagli per tre ripidi piani di scale).

This is a VERY VERY basic hotel. Almost like a dorm room. One cheap plastic chair and small table. Nowhere to sit but on your bed. Maybe a step up from a hostel (although I’ve never been to one). The hotel does not have a front desk. You have to walk to the next block to another hotel to register and you also have to go to that other hotel for breakfast. Parking is poor. There were no spots to park behind the hotel when we got there (only maybe enough for 8 cars) so had to park 2-3 blocks away. The breakfast was very good. The door was locked to the building, so you had a code to get in which makes you feel very secure. The beds were comfortable, the shower decent, and it was clean. If you do NOT have your room cleaned, they give you a free drink at the other hotel which is good incentive. Also, there is a towel warmer so that made it easy to wash out some clothes and dry them. Despite the negatives, it was very quiet and I slept well. There are so few options in this town that this is basically what you get. I think I was just a bit shocked when I walked in and felt like I was in college again….

Pretty happy with my stay here. Nice clean rooms with a decent bathroom. The location is right in the center of the city so you can walk to anything you need. The breakfast had many options including hot options as well. But you need to walk about 400 meters. Staff was very polite as well.

La habitación muy limpia y confortable, con todas la comodidades. El baño es enorme! El lugar tiene fácil aparcamiento. La recepción y el salón para desayunar y comer se encuentra en el edificio principal, a unos 150 metros como mucho. Hay un supermercado cerca. Muy buena opción para alojarse en Isafjordur.

Ok le Horn est une des 2 annexes de l’hôtel principal : pas d’accueil sur place, 200 m à pied pour aller prendre le petit déjeuner.. mais nous.. on a plutôt apprécié l’endroit. Notre chambre était très confortable, la plus grande des 12 hôtels différents dans lesquels nous avons séjourné. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux, servi dans la salle de restaurant de l’hôtel principal qui est très agréable ! Pour le stationnement, aucun problème puisqu’il y a le grand parking du Netto qui est à 50 m de là..

Room is decent size. Bathroom is ok. The curtains don't fully close and do not block out the light. Breakfast is served in the other hotel that you check-in at. Parking is limited behind the hotel. The street the windows face was loud all night.
