They helped me taking incredible elopement photos!! They were very helpful and responsive through email when booking. The day of was super easy and smooth to check in and pay. Our pilot was awesome, she was a great tour guide as well informing us of all the history and geology of our locations.

30-35 min helicopter ride for $492.00 to oversee the active volcano, Litli Hrutur 😵‍💫 It was a lot of fun & we enjoyed our captain. The view in the chopper, even if you get the center seat (one person up front with the pilot, 4 in the back) you still have a good view. Obviously, the best view is upfront as well as the end seats but overall, seeing the eruption from a helicopter was something I’ll never forget. Only complaint, not long enough of a ride for the amount of $$ spent.

I came in anxious and left overjoyed, wondering if I should learn to fly.

The helicopter ride came at the end of a wedding day that I had been photographing, assisting my friend at Arctic Weddings Iceland. The couple chartered a flight to go take photos at the erupting volcano, Fagradalsfjall. Personally, I have flight anxiety, so this being my first helicopter ride, I was nervous. According to the company's website, I met Friðgeir Guðjónsson in the lobby. He calmed me and assured me it would be a good experience.

Then we met Thorbergur Sverrisson, the second Thor we had met that day in fact. He got us all set up and comfortable, and then we lifted off. It was euphoric for me. What an amazing moment.

I felt safe the whole experience... at the edge of an active volcano.

Go here. Do this. It was something I will never ever forget. I'm so grateful I got to do this in my lifetime.

Took the Volcano tour on 3/28. Originally were supposed to tour on 3/27, but was informed there were technical issues. Fridgeir was quick and prompt with all communication (from initial inquiry to rebooking.) Our pilot, Sindri, was friendly, personable and very informative. Thrilling experience to see Iceland using Helo helicopter service. Will be recommending to anyone planning to visit the area!

Amazing experience! Great communication with Sindri from the earliest stages of inquiring about a tour all the way through to working around some inclement weather the day of our tour (we were able to depart earlier and make it back to Reykjavík before it set in). Thor and Sindri flew us around so many incredible areas—Þingvellir, Gullfoss, Háifoss, Landmannalaugar, Vatnajökull, and Jökulsárlón, among others, and worked in some surprise areas we were not expecting as well. While we had visited some areas before on the ground, it’s amazing how much the perspective from the helicopter adds. Thor and Sindri were great with answering questions and providing commentary on all things Iceland. Highly recommended. One picture doesn’t do the tour justice, but I’ll add one anyway.
