Nuestra peor experiencia en todo el viaje por Islandia fue, de largo, este alojamiento. Sucios, con polvo acumulado, bichos muertos y olor a cerrado, a falta de limpieza. Para colmo, nos levantamos con picadas por chinches de la cama. Lamentable, te obligan a limpiar antes de marcharte o te cobran 60€ por la cara... Luego que porqué está como está de sucio este sitio. Nadie debería reservar este alojamiento hasta que no contraten un servicio de limpieza...

Encontrarse una mosca muerta, en marzo, después de 5 meses de invierno sin bichos, no quiero pensar que llevan 5 meses sin limpiar este sitio, lamentable...

Okolica i domek (na pierwszy rzut oka) świetny. Natomiast standard czystości domku jest poniżej normy. Zostawiliśmy go w dużo lepszym stanie niż zastaliśmy. Co więcej, deszczownica nie działa i drzwi od kabiny się nie domykają. W nocy pogryzły nas jakieś robaki.

Nice accommodation and amazing view but this alone doesn’t compensate the amount of money paid. The overall price got 10€ more expensive after booking (no reason for it) and we were given the information of a cleaning fee only once we arrived there (meaning: you have to clean the whole property at the end otherwise there is a 60€ cleaning fee). As said, the property is really nice but this subtle ways of taking money unfortunately ruin everything.

Nice accommodation, but the service was a joke!
We paid a ridiculous amount of money for a place where the bed had to be made by ourselves and they even expected us to clean the whole hut (incl. floor, window shelves, shower, …) ourselves afterwards. If we didn’t clean, they would have charged us with a €60 penalty fee and that was only mentioned when we arrived and not during the booking.
But I do not want to complain too much, because to make up for the above mentioned service offering, they overcharged us by €10 without any notice or mentioning why. Overall, top tourist rip-off scheme!!

Nice view, cool looking house and well equipped. BUT, and it’s a big but, you have to pay extra for cleaning so when you leave you will have to clean the house or pay extra 60 euros. The cherry on top, when you arrive -after ice hiking and long drive- even the beds aren’t made. Hospitality at its finest.

En lugar de exigir a los huéspedes que se encarguen de la limpieza bajo amenaza de recargo de 60 euros, harían bien en ocuparse ellos de dicha tarea y, de paso, hacer una buena desinfección de colchones y ropa de cama para evitar que el visitante se levante con molestas picaduras que desmerecen la estancia en un enclave muy bonito.

Nice place to see northern lights in iceland. To owners please find a way so you can turn off outside lights for better night photography. Place was perfect for a night to spend taking photos
