We took a family holiday over christmas during major snow storms in Iceland which cancelled many activities. The Fjallhallah group proactively reached out to try to get us outdoors safely and explore the area around the city including the volcanoes. They were determined to find safe ways for us to hike and see their beautiful country. We took one of the most beautiful hikes I've ever taken through the newly erupted volcanoes. Our guide, Villif shared his vast Iceland knowledge in our time together because of his dedication, kindness and love for Iceland. We had a magical time hiking with them and will return to see more of this beautiful country. Best tour company I've ever used!

My husband and I did the Fimmvörðuháls Hike with Erla. She was a brilliant guide, with good knowledge of the area and walking route. She guided us safely through a fairly challenging 9 hour hike and gave us the confidence to complete it all in one piece! The scenery was absolutely amazing- waterfalls, volcanoes, snowfields, glaciers….Couldn't recommend this tour and this company more!

Best experience ever!! We have been on two private hikes with Erla. She knows her mountains by heart and we felt very safe with her. She told us about all the stories and history of the areas we went to and she had some fascinating facts about Iceland. We found places away from the tourists areas that were breathtaking and we would have never been able to witness or find all these wonders by ourselves. Erla is the kindest person we have met during our trip. We cannot recommend her enough.

We used Fjallhalla Adventurers for our clients who wanted to do a Glacier Hike. they really enjoyed the experience and said their guide was really funny (sorry we didn't get a name). They were able to get right up to the humpback whales and saw a lot of whales and dolphins! Thank you for making their experience one they won't ever forget!

Erla was a fantastic tour guide. She was very passionate and knowledgeable about the northern lights and did a great job to ensure we had an amazing experience. We visited multiple locations and were able to see the lights in many different environments. They were able to accomadate us very last minute and picked us up from our hotel. 10/10 would recommend!

The four of us had an excellent trip with Fjallhalla Adventures. We chose to do the Fimmvorduhals hike in one day, even though the company advertises the tour as a two day trip. The company was very gracious in accommodating us in doing this trip in one day (I’ve looked around and this VERY uncommon with almost all other tour operators). It also is very difficult to do on your own with transportation logistics. Not only did this company provide transport and guide, but also arranged for a delicious barbecue lamb dinner after the hike. Thanks again for a great trip! Highly recommend
