Nous avons loué un VW camper van (new) avec webasto pour notre roadtrip de 8 jours en août 2024 et nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire! Le van est facile à conduire, super confortable aussi bien pour la route que pour y dormir (matelas hyper confortable) et très très bien équipé! Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Nous avons pu visiter l'Islande sereinement. Nous avons d'ailleurs eu un gros pincement au cœur au moment de le rendre. Merci Affordable campers de nous permettre de faire de si beau voyage! 💚🩶

If you plan to go to Iceland, this is the best address to rent your camper. Our Caddy Maxi was well equipped, comfortable and a reliable companion during our trip, and the most beautiful car on the parking spots. The team of "Affordable Campers" is very helpful and they make you feel cared for all the time. Thank you for making our trip to Iceland unforgettable 🙂

Wir waren mit der Wahl unseres Campers von Affordable Campers sehr zufrieden. Wir hatten unseren Caddy Maxi für 3 Wochen gemietet und waren vom Komfort positiv überrascht. Das Team von Affordable war sehr hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und hat uns sogar Tipps für unseren Island Urlaub gegeben.

Parfait !! Nous avons loué un Caddy Basic pour notre road trip de dix jours en Islande, et nous sommes plus que ravis. Le personnel est très chaleureux et sympathique (on nous a même emmenés jusqu’à notre hôtel à Reykjavík après le retour du van). Le camper est très bien aménagé et fonctionnel. Rien à redire, merci beaucoup!

We were very happy with Affordable Campers!

This camper-van company was great. Bigir was very prompt when I emailed about rates and questions. He met us at a train station when we needed to pick up the van and then at the end of the trip he dropped us off in downtown Reykjavik.

When we picked up the van, the van was ready to go. Birgir gave a quick tutorial on how the van works and where everything is kept (cooking utensils, window shades). We were on the road very quickly!

The camper had a heating system which was great! We only needed to use it one night but it was a relief to have. The heating system was hooked up to a separate battery so we didn't need to worry about draining the van's battery. Our cooler had a hard time keeping cool so we just kept our food outside during the night.

There was really a lot of room in the van. When looking for a camper van, I didn't want a van that had storage above me. All the storage was below the bed and when they built the bed platform, they really maximized the space. The bed was comfy and the red curtains that we hung over the window's really allowed for some privacy.

When we return to Iceland, we will definitely use Affordable Campers again!

We rented a VW Caddy Maxi for 3 days in Iceland, and it was an awesome experience! The van drives really smooth on the road, and the fuel tank is surprisingly efficient. When we picked it up, the car was super clean and tidy, and we got a great, clear briefing on how everything works – super helpful!

The sleeping space in the back is huge! Both me and my friend are 1.95m tall, and we fit in there no problem. Plenty of room to stretch out and get a good night’s sleep.

Big shoutout to Birgir and his colleague for their fantastic service. They were really friendly and made the whole process super easy. Highly recommend renting from them!

Great experience with Birgir. Quick with paperwork. We rented VW Caddy.

Explained campervan, showed how to make bed, fridge and were to store supplies/luggage.

When we brought back the rental we got free dropp off @Guesthouse in Keflavik.

The best campers you can get! Affordable Campers is the best out there, for so many reasons:

1. They are sparkling clean

2. The bed is better than many 5* hotels have (not kidding)

3. The have plenty of room for luggage

4. They have everything you need, from cooking gear, to a fridge or a heating system that runs without the car engine being on

5. They are SUPER comfortable for long road trips (VW Caddy all the way!)

6. They are fitted with very nice, and safe, all-weather tires (non of the other campers we've seen had anything close to ours)

7. We are talking about campers that are fully customized, designed and built by the owners themselves, who are very very nice and will always offer help for anything you might need.

There's a lot more to say, but I'll never finish the review!

We had a great experience with Affordable campers. The setup of the car was very good, blankets, fridge, cooking equipment, enough space for all the luggage. Everything you need was available. Car was clean, reliable and comfortable. Communication with the guys is great, they are even willing to pick you up of drop off at the accommodation when returning the car. Definitely recommend, we would spend another week on the road anytime.
