This is worth your time. With the very nice and clean rooms and supplies with coffee and glasses for drinks this is what you want. It’s close to walk to the coast and into town. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome and that you’re not a bother. They have free coffee in the morning even if you don’t do breakfast. The outdoor pool is so clean and it’s warm enough even if it’s cold out. Everything was wonderful and I’d come stay here again if and when I visit Keflavík again. Very close to the Keflavík airport. Just impressed with everything and I’m very picky and pessimistic.

Location is great for the airport and the service by staff is good. The shuttle was VERY nice to have to get to the airport. However, this place was lacking some basic things: tissues, soap, lotion, a phone to call the front desk. The shower is European style which means water got EVERYWHERE. The fan in the bathroom was present, however, there was no way to turn it on. Also note, when asking for a view, be specific: the view we had was of the sky, not the bay.

I spent a night in this lovely hotel, last night on my second trip to Iceland. I chose it after I read good reviews in a French magazine, and was not disappointed - to say the least! Super warm welcome from the lovely receptionists who welcomed us and said bye to us. Our standard room was very comfy, the hot pool on the rooftop was a great addition. They also offer free shuttle to the airport: it's a time and money saver if you stay anywhere else near the airport, any taxi to get there would cost you a minimum of USD 20 even if it's only a few minutes ride. We didn't test their restaurant, we wanted to explore the area and were gifted with great recommendations. They have delicious craft beers though. It was also very quiet.

Absolutely miserable experience. You hear literally anything someone does in the hotel. Ive stayed in some pretty bad hotels, but none had such poor quality sound insulation. The walls must be a single sheet of card stock because it's like all the people in the rooms around me were in my room. The whole experience is made worse by the loud doors and the fact they're all deadbolts so every 2 minutes you hear a loud bolt sliding into place. It's truly baffling that this hotel was created in such a way you could here Everytime your neighbors go to the bathroom. What's the point of a hotel that advertises a "restful beginning or end to your stay in Iceland" when you can't actually get to sleep? I hope this review can save someone with a red eye flight the hassle, just stay at the hotel by the airport or something, this is not worth it. I'm surprised this place has such great reviews

other negatives included the lazily cleaned bathrooms that appear clean when you first get in, but door knobs and handles appear smudgy. There's no shower gel or soap, so unless you brought your own be prepared to just use their really strange smelling shampoo and conditioner with an odd consistency and appearance. Toilet seat is uncomfortably close to the shower. Toilet paper is made of 80 grit sandpaper. The safe didn't work. The outlets only work with the lights on, good luck charging devices overnight. The room was hotter than the saunas I visited. The bed is made of volcanic stone and the pillows are flat, hard, and uncomfortable, they don't give you nearly enough to compensate. The TV has like 4 channels that actually work, thankfully the movie channel did work.

Okay so yeah, incredibly disappointed with my experience here and I'm mad I paid them for the privilege of getting about a good of a nights sleep as I could have in my rental car. And look, I'm not trying to be overly negative here, I can understand it is a 3 star hotel by the airport, but there is a certain level of comfort you can expect with that, I would definitely say this does not meet the standards of any other similarly priced hotel by an airport I have ever stayed at. Again, if you're looking to actually get some sleep for a flight here, LOOK ELSEWHERE

Just a few positives because I generally do try to leave places good reviews where I can:

The staff were all nice and she let us check in about an hour early. The night porter was very nice and check out was simple

The lobby is nice, modern and cozy with a gorgeous view of the ocean, city and mountains

Apparently the hot tub is nice, but we didn't get in it. It looked fine though.

The location is right near a few attractions in Keflavik (Giant house was neat and had good views) it's walking distance to restaurants if you don't wanna eat at the hotel (we didn't)

The rooms are spacious and functional and pleasant. There is however no service. Even at breakfast, tables were not cleaned (we had to clean ours), poorly educated clients filling up their picnic bags and nothing being refuelled by the non existent staff. |Shame.

Really handy location for the airport (but not much else) and spacious modern rooms. We loved the rooftop hot tub. Would give the restaurant a miss - the menu looked lovely, but our dishes were cold and a bit bland so not worth the high prices.

Spent our first night when we arrived in the midnight. The hotel is only a few minutes' drive from the airport. It has good size room and free coffee/tea throughout the day.We had a morning walk around the hotel and it was pretty nice and safe.

? The staff upgraded us to a better room upon check-in which was a nice surprise! The room was really big and comfortable and you can park your car right in front of it if you wish. The room was warm and cosy and the bed was super comfy.
There is also a very nice restaurant on-site but it's quite expensive. However, this hotel is probably the best one close to the airport.

?The check-out - there was no one at reception (at 8 am) and even though I waited for at least 5 minutes, I had to just leave my key and leave or 1 would be late to my car's drop-off. Wish I had received a text with an apology at least.
I didn't think the bathroom was very clean - there were smudges on handles and some stains in the sink.
Other than that, I will probably stay here again soon.
