An OK hotel, did the job, but doesn't win any special mentions. The reception staff are quite surly, always made you feel that you were being annoying. One chap was the exception, he was excellent at arranging us to purchase bus tickets back to the airport. Beds were comfy. Room basic but OK. Glad to see a kettle. Our room key did not work properly but when we came back a few night later our new room was fine. Breakfast was OK, good enough choice, the porridge was made with water so handy for vegans or those dairy free. They had gluten free bread but it was awful, well marginally OK toasted. Glad to see peanut butter, olive oils alongside eggs. Handy secure luggage store. Our ground floor room was very noisy when the buses stopped outside, so the 2nd room when we asked for a quieter one was a few floors up. To be fair we hardly spent much time here so it was fine.

I booked this hotel through a package with Jet2 city breaks. From the airport to Central Reykjavík is about 45 minutes. I arrived around midday, and luckily my room was ready for me. I was pleasantly surprised about my room. It was a lot bigger than I expected for a single room. It had a nice sized bathroom, TV and tea and coffee making facilities which I appreciated. If I had any faults, I would say it’s not ideal having the wardrobe near the front door. Also, I would’ve liked plug sockets near my bed. Other than that I couldn’t fault it I would happily stay here again. Great location to the city centre, the town, restaurants, shops and bars. You are also able to book excursions through the hotel with I took advantage of and I found it very easy and enjoyable.

For the price? It's okay. However, front desk personnel is rude. And this is not only about a cultural difference. If you don't ask, they won't offer any pointers about your stay. Bed was comfortable. The temperature of the room was good. Breakfast is included and they have an option for you to store your luggage if your room is not ready or if you are leaving later. Very connected to tour companies. Walking distance (if you like to walk) to most city attractions. However, is not located in the center.

This is a nice hotel - not the most luxurious, but it's it's a nice stay. Conveniently located a short walking distance from the busiest area of Reykjavik. The rooms are comfortable, warm, and not worn out. The beds are very comfortable, and the pillows are fluffy and soft!|The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a nice breakfast with a multitude of fresh breads, fruits, meats, cheeses, very good coffee, etc. The (free) pool table in the lowest level was a hit with the students I was chaperoning.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 night all good, bed comfy but as many others window would not shut fully so room cold and to add to this the under floor heating was not working was given a plug in heater. Building work opposite side of the work and a big crane close to town center and a small bus station, breakfast was as expected continental but overall was a nice place

Just returned from 4 nights at this Hotel staying in room 438.|First time visitor to Reykjavik and will certainly be looking to return.|This hotel is convenient for the town centre only a 5 minute walk away.|Stayed in a double room which although small had all the facilities for a comfortable stay.|Comfortable double bed with 2 single quilts. Good temperature. And had 4 good nights sleep.|Continental Breakfast was great with plenty on offer. |A lovely bar area for drinks on an evening with friendly bar staff.|Reception staff were friendly and efficient with the check in when we arrived. |Shame there was no food available on an evening however this want an issue.|Room was serviced on request with fresh towels on request.|A very satisfactory stay and would recommend when in Iceland. |Clean, warm, cosy Hotel

Stayed there for a week and all together it was pretty great! Breakfast was nice, service always kind. Our room was really clean, had everything we needed and if you want/need something to be cleaned or anything like that just tell the service people and theyll do it ! And you can reach like everything in about 20 minutes!

It's a very satisfactory hotel. The only bad thing is that the receptionist is a bit racist. It is said that we arrived at the hotel at 12 noon, and then we asked the front desk if we could enter the room early? She said we have to wait until 3 o'clock, and there is no room for us now. We accepted what she heard, and went out to have lunch. When we came back from lunch, we asked her again. It was already 2 o'clock, and she still said there was no room for us, so we would sit down. While waiting on the sofa there, there was a foreign couple who also came to stay, and she immediately gave them a room. My companion was very angry when she saw us. When she saw us, she was embarrassed and asked us to take the key and enter the room. I think this kind of service attitude really brings down the price of such a good hotel.
