Camping in posizione magnifica, staff molto gentile. Solo 3 bagni (non molto puliti) con 2 docce, troppo pochi per la mole di gente che campeggia. Spazio per cucinare tenuto male, le piastre per cuocere il cibo sono sporche( colpa di chi le usa). Caffè provvisto di zuppa, panini, torte, muffin e vari drink.

Overall, the campsite is excellent — clean facilities, warm showers and everything you need, including a spot to wash dishes (only cold water). The seal and bird-watching area is a few meters beyond the campsite, as is the Viking Village, which is also nearby. Both are included in the price 2500ISK pp). However, it was disappointing to find that some guests did not clean up after themselves, leaving food in the sink overnight. While the campsite itself is well-maintained, I encourage everyone to be more considerate and respectful of others. By the way, we could see the northern lights at night! It was very beautiful!

So this a very busy site for many reasons. Plenty of parking and it’s very quiet after 9pm. There are limited bathroom and showers so go late or very early. The bathrooms aren’t extremely clean but after a full day of driving it was fine for us. The cafe has good coffee and waffles

Amazing camping experience - facilities are clean and great. Hot water running, nice cafe with breakfast option. Most importantly you get access to a beautiful view of the mountain and tickets are included in the camping fees. Loved it!

Nos quedamos una noche en camper, las instalaciones son pequeñas pero agradables para pasar una noche, por baños, estacionamiento, duchas fueron 38.99 euros, ya incluye el acceso al parque y a la villa vikinga. OJO: el acceso al parque es una sola vez, te recomiendo hacerlo con luz, las duchas solo están disponibles de 6 pm a 12 pm así que organiza tus tiempos.

Algo que me encantó es que hay varios españoles atendiendo, te aceptan euros, coronas o pago con tarjeta, tiene un pequeño café y algunas mesas. Algo increíble fue que pudimos ver auroras 🤩

El precio del camping incluye la visita a una playa y a una aldea vikinga (no es original). El camping está bien en cuanto a instalaciones (todo lo básico, dos duchas, baños, manguera para la furgo y una sala de cocina con UN hornillo para todos). Hasta ahí todo bien, pero de verdad deberían considerar tener en cuenta el aforo de gente que puede estar ahí durmiendo porque aparqué a las 19:30 y a las 22:00 estaba totalmente rodeada de coches sin poder moverme y eso parecía una piscina de Sevilla en plena ola de calor, no cabía ni un alfiler entre los coches.
No recomiendo para nada este camping hasta que miren de limitar el acceso porque no vale la pena por la incomodidad de tener que ir como un cangrejo entre los coches.
PD: pongo dos estrellas en vez de una por los otros lugares que había para visitar (faro + espacio de la OTAN + Playa) que SOLO SE PUEDE ACCEDER PAGANDO EL PUEBLO VIKINGO (no sé si es una playa privada de ellos o qué).

È quello che resta di una riproduzione di un villaggio vikingo..un pò fuori da qualsiasi percorso.noi ci siamo capitati perchè abbiamo alloggiato nella guest house,molto caratteristica e confortevole..colazione FAVOLOSA :le rondelle burrose alla cannella ❤️

WOW! In assoluto uno dei migliori camping che abbia mai visitato.
Location incredibile ai piedi della montagna, non lontano dalla strada principale ma abbastanza per creare la sensazione di essere in un posto “remoto”.
Il personale è stato meraviglioso, regalandoci consigli utili e molta simpatia.
In particolare, nonostante tutte le previsioni dicessero che non avremmo visto l’aurora boreale quella sera, la titolare ci ha detto che secondo lei le probabilità erano altissime. In foto la dimostrazione: “trust the locals”!
Docce private incluse nel prezzo. Il viking bar è un plus: le torte sono eccezionali e c’è il free refill del caffè.

Great location and a very nice host. The price per person includes showers, tickets to the Viking Village, and access to the stunning Vestrahorn view.
There are only two showers available, and they operate between 18:00 and 12:00. Toilets are limited as well—two in one area and three more inside the café. The Viking Guesthouse also offers a few rooms on-site if you prefer indoor accommodation.
The cooking area is small and located outside the main building. You’re allowed to eat your own food inside the café, but cooking there isn’t permitted. I’m not sure how many electricity outlets are available, but if you arrive around 7 p.m., you should still be able to find one.
Overall, I really liked the place. It’s small, cozy, with welcoming staff and a fantastic location (though a bit windy). I definitely recommend staying here.

No STOVE! Area is extremely beautiful, the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. From the mountains to the black sand beach. The camping site itself has 2 showers, toilets, gathering area and a small roofed space in which you can bring ur stuff to cook. There’s a sink as well. A lot of activities to see and do.

This used to be one of my favorite campgrounds years ago, however unfortunately it had the same fate as many others: camping guests increased by a lot, so did the price (currently 2800 isk pP). What did not increase is the available facilities: there are just two showers with very low water pressure and lots of mold for the whole campground. On the plus side the ticked to drive to stokksnes is included in the price. If this campground was properly maintained, the price lower and more facilites it could easily be 5*.

Überragender Campingplatz 2.800 pro Person, keine versteckten Gebühren. Kochstelle inkl. Mikrowelle und Dusche inklusive. Dazu ein freier Eintritt zum Strand und dem Vikinger Dorf. Letzteres für mich tatsächlich ein kleines Highlight in Island. Kann den Camping Platz nur empfehlen, allerdings nicht so viele Stellplätze, daher lohnt sich früh kommen und dann z.B. zum Strand.

Загалом затишний кемпінг, який ще розширюється і розвивається. В чудовій заповідній зоні, ціна вʼїзду до села вікінгів і чорних пляжів входить в проживання.
Спочатку на. Насторожили 6 км ґрунтової дороги і не хороші відгуки саме про дорогу. На автобудинку 7,5 м, було доїхати без проблем, ґрунтова, але добре утрамбована ( відео).

Кемпінг має 2і паркувальні зони, але недостатнього підключена до електрики ( по 4 точки в кожній зоні), тому рекомендую одразу онлай бронювати місце зі світлом.
Є зони для готування їжі невеликі і умивальники з холодною водою ( будиночок в зоні паркінгу), а також окремо в основній будівлі з гарячою водою санвузли, душові, зона для миття посуду. Єдине , витяжки в душових не справляються, що створює вологу і плісняву на стелі, а загалом все чисто і охайно.
Привітний персонал і кафе з смачною , хоч по ісландськи дорогою кухнею
