Andi and Yuki were excellent hosts. They offer a quick and inexpensive taxi service to and from the airport with a well-curated playlist of local music. The accommodations were quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The natural hot pool was a neat, unique experience. The location is very walkable to the shops, restaurants, and the sea. The bathrooms and decor were unique, artistic, and clean. Would highly recommend staying.

The kindness of Andi and Yuki, with Andi’s great humor and Yuki’s kind smile. The delicious breakfast the following morning. Andi’s rhubarb pie made from his mom’s recipe. The warm rooms with good coffee and chilled water. The cleanliness and fun designs everywhere.

Andy and Yuki are amazing hosts.....friendly, funny and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Although uts shared bathrooms we never had to wait to use the facilities. A perfect 10

Andi and Yuki are fantastic hosts and I enjoyed being in their wonderful house. It was so clean and had such positive energy. The breakfast was best we had in Iceland, and thermal pool was great way to end the evening. It is the same water as Bluelagoon, small and just perfect. If I come back, I would only stay here. If you are looking for a more personal experience and appreciate good people with great service , don’t miss out on this experience.

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful guesthouse twice—once upon arriving in Iceland and again on my return. Both stays were unforgettable, showing the the charm and hospitality that make guesthouses so special.

This guesthouse is a true gem, blending vernacular Icelandic architecture/design with a warm and authentic atmosphere. It offers the perfect balance of charm and convenience. Located 6 km from the airport, it is incredibly accessible, yet it feels like a peaceful retreat. The property is within walking distance of a quaint town center, borders the water, and even features a backyard basin filled with hot geothermal waters—a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.

With only six rooms spread across two floors and a shared bathroom on each floor, the guesthouse’s small, family-run nature is at its heart. Yuki & Andi go above and beyond, offering personal attention and care. They even tailored my room choice to match my itinerary, ensuring the best possible experience. The place is exceptionally clean, and the bedding is very comfortable. I enjoyed the homemade breakfasts featuring freshly baked bread, delicious cakes like banana bread, local berries, and amazing cappuccinos—perfect for starting the day.

The intimate scale of the guesthouse creates a sense of community. I enjoyed conversations with the hosts (owners) and fellow guests, which added warmth to my stay. This level of connection is something that larger hotels cannot easily replicate. Guesthouses like this offer an authentic and personal experience that sets them apart.

During my December and January stays, I rented an electric vehicle to explore the southern coastline and Reykjavík’s bathhouses. The guesthouse served as the perfect base for my adventures.

I highly recommend this family-owned guesthouse to anyone seeking a unique, personal, and memorable stay in the Keflavik/Reykjavik area.

Wir hätten es nicht besser treffen. Für die erste Nacht auf Island. Vielen lieben Dank Yuki und Andi für den herzlichen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer und das ganze Ambiente der Anlage sind mit viel Liebe und Charm mit dem nötigen Auge fürs Detail eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war der absolute Oberhammer. immer wieder gerne und auch gern für länger. PS. Das Rhabarberkuchenrezept von der Mama muss unbedingt noch jemand aus Andy rauskitzeln 😃

아이슬란드 여행의 마지막 밤을 완벽한 곳에서 보냈습니다! Andi & Yuki 는 정말 유쾌하고 친절한 사람들이었어요✨ 숙소는 아주 깔끔하고 인테리어가 좋아서 테마파크에 온 듯한 느낌도 받았습니다. 노천 온천도 아이슬란드에서 갔던 온천들 중에 1등...! 꼭 다시 방문하고싶은 숙소!! (귀여운 고양이까지 있어요😊)

We would have given Guesthouse 1x6 full six stars if possible. We got the friendliest, and definitely the funniest, welcome from Andi and Yuki. The Guesthouse had many unique details with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and had a beautiful Icelandic decor. The thermal bath in the garden was a great surprise. Also happy to see environmental consideration with waste recycling. Keflavik harbor and cliffs with a spectacular view across the town and the ocean were just around the corner. |We definitely recommend this place and if we come back to Iceland this will be our place to stay!
