We ordered a pulled pork and vegan hot dog and was surprised that there was no "sausage" in either but my god, these guys know how to make a delicious snack!
The sauces compliment each other well and for around £6 a dog, it's a great lunch on the go.

Abbiamo preso questi 3 hotdog di gusti diversi per provare le diverse versioni, che dire buonissimi sia con wurstel che con agnello!
La vicinanza con la chiesa principale lo rende un facile punto ristoro mentre si gira la città.
Inoltre è presente anche la possibilità di prendere quelli vegetariani.

有名必打卡的熱狗麫包攤，就在哈爾格林姆教堂旁邊，非常容易找。
我個人對熱狗不是特別喜歡，但是名店一定要來嚐嚐看，其中我比較在意的是因為11月天氣太冷，熱狗一拿岀來就變冷狗了，很是難過。

When in Iceland, one must try the Icelandic hotdog. We are not truly sure if this is traditional, but we still loved it nonetheless. It was very saucy, and the fried onions complemented the sausage very well. Shop also sells pulled pork and pulled lamb though we didn’t get to try it. Prices weren’t too exorbitant as well.

The stall is located 1 minute away from the Hallgrimskirkja, and you can sit around nearby to enjoy the view. The view of the church from here is much more impressive and the photos are nicer.

For my first visit to Iceland, Viking Pylsur was my only Icelandic hot dog but it was fantastic! This little stand puts out some good eats, a large plump hot dog made to order with some creamy sweet sauces and bit of cabbage underneath. The line out front is there for a reason, enjoy!

We really enjoyed our “hotdogs”. My husband got the shredded lamb (right) and I had the shredded pork (left). It really hit the spot on a day exploring Reykjavík. The location was perfect right by the church and there were plenty of tables and benches available. The saucy dogs required sitting as they were a bit messy.

We had the classic hot dog and the pulled lamb.
I love lamb but the pulled lamb was not good, I don’t know if the problem was the sauce.
The traditional is a traditional hot dog. In my opinion has too much sauce and it would be more interesting with fried onion, like the pulled lamb.
But that is just a personal taste.
You need to wait in line but in 10 minutes you should be ready.

We had heard and read about these amazing hot dogs. The show Feed Phil came here with his family - so we had to stop.

We just happened to find it on our way to the main church. It is in a really cute area right across the street. They serve many different hot dogs, we stuck with the traditional hot dog. But I am going to try the other when we return!

The traditional hot dog was very good. I love the onions, and the sweet mustard they use. The entire package gives you a very unique taste experience.

This was our first exposure to the cost of Icelandic food - expensive. However, I will make the statement this was excellent inexpensive food for the capital! When we come back from our driving trip, we will be back!

Buena parada si quieres comer on the go y no gastar más de la cuenta.
Probamos el hot dog tradicional y el de cordero. Ambos estaban bastante buenos, casi que nos gustó más el tradicional.

I tried the traditional hot dog and it was so good. It is definitely worth a try, and probably the cheapest food you can get in Iceland (although it's still quite expensive for a hot dog).

The crispy flakes under the sausage gave it such an amazing texture, and the sauce on the hot dog was thick and gave the hot dog such an great flavor. I would definitely go again to try the other options.

Not a bad Pylsur! I went for the pulled pork n béchamel sauce with lashings of onion toppings. It was delicious and there were fun signs to take photos of while waiting.
