The only place I would go horse riding again in Iceland. Absolutely beautiful and well broke horses. We got to tölt, unfortunately could not canter as we brought two friends with no experience but would love to come back with just my husband.

Last week, we visited this small farm with a group of 10 girls, and it was an unforgettable experience.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Martina, who made us feel like close friends or family members. This hospitality set the tone for the day.

One of the highlights was how carefully Martina and her team care for the horses. They took the time to ask each of us about our riding experience before selecting the perfect horse for each rider. The horses themselves were beautiful and well-groomed.

Before we set off, we received a thorough explanation on how to communicate with and handle the horses, which made us feel confident. The 1.5-hour ride was incredibly enjoyable, and it even seemed to last a bit longer. We rode through picturesque fields with stunning views of the mountains and the black sand beach.

The entire experience was both rejuvenating and inspiring, filled with warm emotions from our interaction with the horses. Martina is a lovely person, and I found myself wishing for more time to chat with her.

Overall, this farm is a wonderful place to connect with nature and enjoy a relaxing ride.

As a huge horse-lover I was thrilled to go horse riding in Iceland. To do it at Martina’s farm was the best decision! It is really heartwarming to see how much love she gives to her horses and how much joy this brings to her! I recommend this experience 200% my dream came true, und make yours come true too!

I had the most wonderful horseback riding experience in Iceland, led by the incredibly kind and welcoming Martina. Her genuine warmth and openness made us feel immediately at home. The horses were absolutely stunning, not only beautiful but also incredibly friendly and gentle, reflecting the deep love and care they receive. It was easy to see how much Martina cares for them, and it made the entire experience feel special and authentic. Riding through the Icelandic landscapes with these amazing animals was a dream come true.

Had the most magical experience here! We did the mountain and ocean tour and got to explore the beautiful irafoss, holtsos lake and the surrounding areas. Our horses (Freya & Perla) were super gentle and friendly and we enjoyed every minute of getting to know them over our tour. Completing the five star experience were the wonderful guides who brought us around and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey even though it was our first time riding.

I absolutely LOVED the black sand beach tour. Martina and her assistant were so friendly and informative, making the ride feel relaxed for a novice rider like myself. The horses were so sweet and clearly trained well to handle new riders.

We got extremely lucky to have nice weather on the day of our tour, but it would’ve been worth it to go in any weather. Iceland is a special place, and getting to explore it on horseback with lovely guides made the experience unforgettable.

I hope to take another tour with my family the next time we visit Iceland! And I 100% recommend any of these tours for anyone who wants a new exciting experience in southern Iceland.
