This place was one of the highlights of our trip! We spent two nights here and the unit was so beautiful inside and out! The hot-tub was such a perfect spot to sip wine and watch the tide go up and down! The sauna was so quick to heat up. We jumped back and forth between the sauna and hot tub. The location was super private and quiet - seeing sheep out the window and hearing them baaa in the morning was awesome. The bed was so comfy and the kitchen had everything you would need (except a microwave). The decor and the design were well planned.

We drove past the road as it is not well marked yet.
The hot tub temp was a bit finicky but the staff were amazingly responsive to a quick email, they came and fixed it ASAP.
The email from the staff beforehand gave us great suggestions for things to see and do around the area. Really helpful and kind couple.

Overall, 10/10 experience! So glad we could stay there. Highly recommend!

Un endroit magique dans un décor merveilleux.
Les suites sont luxueuses, confortables et bien équipées, la vue est juste incroyable. Le bain et le sauna étaient bien chauds pour notre arrivée.
Un véritable luxe de se réveiller avec vue sur la mer!

This was a wonderful stay in Iceland with amazing views and great hospitality and amenities! It was incredible to fall asleep and wake up right next to the water and to be able to enjoy a sauna or hot bath with the same view. The hosts were also so welcoming and accommodating and made our visit so special. I would highly recommend staying for anyone looking for a luxurious stay in between adventures as relaxing here after a long day was rejuvenating.

Wunderbares Apartment direkt am Meer, super Aussicht auf den Fjord und die Berge - alles Glas (von innen) bzw Spiegel (von außen). Und private Sauna und Hot Tub gleich dabei - da bleibt man gerne dort, denn in der Nähe ist eh nicht viel. Wunderbar für eine Auszeit. Alles sehr sauber, und gut ausgestattet in Küche und Bad. Super nette Gastgeber

Una notte incantevole. E' stata una bellissima esperienza, ogni suite ha la sua privacy e sono curate nel minimo particolare.
La cucina è attrezzata e dispone anche di alcuni prodotti utili e non scontati come sale, pepe e cialde di caffè; lo abbiamo davvero apprezzato.
Letto molto comodo, le tende permettono di oscurare bene la camera se non volete svegliarvi con la luce e una vista bellissima. Sauna privata e hot tube, una vasca calda sorseggiando il caffè alla mattina con vista sul lago e le pecore intorno è stato magnifico.
la gentilezza dei ragazzi. Ci hanno accolto con un biglietto di benvenuto sul tavolo e viaggiano con una bimba di 3 anni un libro per lei, grazie davvero. inoltre vedendoci arrivare tardi perchè arrivavamo da Husavik ci hanno offerto un late check out per sfruttare al meglio la nostra esperienza, una gentilezza incredibile.

Really spectacular place to stay to relax. We spent one night here. Sauna and hot tub were much needed given the cold wind. Bed as very comfortable and the scenery by the water is beautiful.

We had two wonderful nights at this amazing place directly at the fjord.
While sitting in the hot tub, sweating in the sauna or laying in the comfortable bed you can enjoy the perfect view.
Only a few minutes you have a supermarket and a restaurant.
You can also go for a nice hike with a natural hot tub only 10 minutes away (Gudrúnarlaug).
The comminicatuin with Marat is perfect and really easy.
The last evening we also saw the northern lights 🙂

From booking this stay to actually getting here, I was so excited. This deffentely didn't disappoint at all, from the little touches, a hand written note welcoming us, to everything pre heated ready to just jump straight in to the hot tub or the sauna. The view was amazing even with cloud cover to seeing at aurora lights. This will be a must do when we come back to Iceland.
