We had the best time!
My parents especially enjoyed themselves!
Our guide was friendly, warm and very kind. He did an amazing job making us feel at home and welcome in Iceland. He was an excellent driver, and he was always calm and professional. I was originally planning to drive up to the Highlands in our rented 4x4 and I'm so grateful that we went with a professional guide instead. I don't think I would have found the place by myself and his truck was definitely better suited for the terrain.
My dad's favorite experience our entire trip was soaking in the beautiful geothermal waterfall hot spring in the East Highlands. What an amazing experience for us all! Our guide was also very encouraging, and also listened very closely. He asked us about hiking and made sure we were walking on ground that was appropriate for us. We did not get my parents out of their comfort zone with any of the walking. Everyone had a wonderful time!
And the communication was great! You did such a good job crafting a personalized itinerary and being so patient with me when I was having payment issues. You made sure all of our concerns before the trip were addressed and rapidly accommodated our needs to modify the tour the night before! Thank you so much!
We are still talking about our wonderful tour with Travel East Iceland! You made our once in a lifetime experience glorious!
(And my parents had such a nice time, that they are heading with me to Yellowstone via Idaho this weekend. They asked what to pack and I told them to bring what they brought for our Iceland adventure. Too bad they don't allow hot pot soaking in Yellowstone!)
