Een onvergetelijke reis, mede dankzij TRAVEO!

We hebben onlangs een fantastische 14-daagse rondreis door IJsland gemaakt, volledig georganiseerd door TRAVEO. Het was in één woord geweldig! Alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld: comfortabele accommodaties, een fijne huurauto, een handige app met per dag de te rijden route en suggesties voor bezienswaardigheden onderweg, inclusief routebeschrijving.

Dankzij TRAVEO hebben we in alle rust kunnen genieten van wat IJsland zo bijzonder maakt: indrukwekkende watervallen, gletsjers, lavavelden, geothermische baden en vooral: heel veel vrijheid en ruimte.

Wat een fantastische reis. Van begin tot eind perfect gepland, waarvoor dank. We gaven Traveo de challenge om voor ons gezin met 2 volwassen zonen een actieve reis van 5 dagen te organiseren en ze zijn hierin met vlag en wimpel geslaagd. Perfecte flow van activiteiten, rijden, genieten, restaurant suggesties, toffe hotels, .... Eeuwig dankbaar !

Jonathan Guisset made our trip memorable and very special. We celebrated a 50th BD with ages from 9-82. Jonathan's patience, attention to detail concerning accommodation, excursions, our private driver our amazing car for 6! was perfect. We had many chats with him before our trip and he checked in often while we were in Iceland. He made our trip so easy and worry free. His recommendations for restaurants, his list of what to bring , activities of what to do in Reykjavik , were all beyond helpful and worked for us. We planned all our trip with Traveo, we got a metting with Jonathan and he organized all the trip for us, with the best options an very good prices, you can trust him and the company, we did a international transfer to paid for the trip and we got to Iceland and everything was as we planned it. Also we did some changes during the trip and he helped us to do it with no problem. You can trust them so you can enjoy and get to best experience in Iceland according to your possibilities. They uses an app to organize everything and it's of amazing help. I would definitely travel with them again.

Traveo did an excellent job of scheduling our itinerary. We provided them with our arrival and departure dates/times, and they arranged everything accordingly. They gave us options for add-on tours, and we selected the ones that interested us. Once we were in Iceland, the itinerary was easy to follow, and navigation links were provided to all the destinations. All the accommodations they arranged were wonderful.

Overall I would rate Traveo a 10/10 experience. The next time I go to Iceland I will certainly be booking through them again. Travelling solo to Iceland at the age of 23 yrs old was certainly nerve wracking at first, however, from the minute I arrived to the very last day, the trip was organized extremely well by Omar and he made me feel comfortable and safe with the instructions that were given to me upon arrival. He was also quick to respond to my emails within less than 24 hours and gave several recommendations throughout the trip. For the excursions that were cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, Omar made sure I got refunded the proper amount and that accommodation's were available during this time.

In addition my tour guide Johann was also amazing. He was super friendly and outgoing. Johann was a great driver who gave us a lot of neat information while traveling throughout the Ring Road and also made suggestions of additional places we may be interested to stop at. He also played some familiar music during the tour as well as Icelandic music which was cool to listen to! Although we got stuck in a severe wind/snow storm, Johann still made our experience worth our while. He also made sure we had the correct contact information in order to get the refund for the excursions we missed during this time. It was great getting to know him as well as the others on my tour and I would highly recommend this tour for anyone going solo, as a couple, or a family. All of the hotels had amazing views, the meals were delicious, and the people were very friendly.

Thank you again Traveo for making my trip to Iceland an ultimate experience that I will never forget!

Such a memorable trip to Iceland, the land of extremes: volcanoes, hot springs, geysers, glaciers, icebergs, waterfalls, fjords
After a short stop in Reykjavik and the Blue Lagoon, we headed west and to Snaefellsnes peninsula after which we ventured through the Golden Circle and the South
We had the opportunity to do several activities (horseback riding, walking into a glacier through a man-made tunnel, embark on a super 4x4 jeep tour, zodiac boat tour, but hiking on top of a glacier with the possibility to watch crevasses and moulins was probably the best experience
Our half-day tour to watch the whales was canceled due to bad weather but we were lucky to see puffins, seals, lot of ponys, cows, sheeps along our way and even a reindeer
There was a tiny chance to witness the northern lights due to active solar activity but we couldn't make it this time due to the short nights and windy conditions, so we'll be back in the winter!

From day 1 Jonathan was great. He answered all my questions and concerns, he is very patient and understanding. Jonathan planned the best trip for us!! everything was taken care of, rental car, hotel, activities what to see and what to skip, and even where to eat. He is definitely an expert at what he does and loves his job!!! This was my first time using a travel agent, and does it cost maybe a little more to book through one.... Maybe big maybe... cuz they can find deals that you can t and the best thing with a travel agent is you same time and no headache planning and the saying goes time is money. If you want to go to Iceland please contact Jonathan at Travel. and do you know what makes a very good travel agent? Being able to adjust for last minute changes!!!! Thank You Jonathan for a wonder time for the family and I in Iceland!!!
