We stay for 4 nights in late June. The experience was fantastic. A family of 4 with 2 young adults. Stayed in 2 rooms they booked for us next to each other upon request. I could see they had our rooms/key cards sat aside from the usual stack when we checked in.
Rooms, sheets, towels, everything was clean.
Great view of the old harbor. They even brought a ship in on dry dock one morning while we watched.
Great location to walk to any shops, restaurants, historical locations.
I don't know about parking if you have a vehicle as we didn't have one.
The breakfast was very acceptable.
The Bar/Restaurant had good happy hours(early and late) and prices were right with everyone else. Staff was always friendly too. We didn't eat there though.
The staff was very helpful if we had questions or needed anything.

This is a great hotel in a very nice location. With water views and easy access to restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and comfortable. Our room wasn’t cleaned one day but when it was they did a good job. It would be good to have some blockout curtains as it’s very light during Summer and hard to sleep. Breakfast was very good. Staff were great and the happy hour at the bar a welcome bonus. There are lots of sociable seating areas.|This is a quirky, good feeling hotel and I’d happily recommend it.

My favorote hotel of our entire stay in Iceland! Great location overlooking the marina. We had a balcony so we were able to relax and just enjoy the cool weather. Rally nice bathroom and bedding. Easy walk to restaurants, museum, rainbow road, shops and the big church.

Nice location on the waterfront. About 5 minutes walk to the touristy shops/restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was very good with a nice bar. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Great big towels for the shower. There are multiple areas to relax on the first floor. We paid to have breakfast every day, and it was tasty and a plentiful buffet. Well worth adding on. The pick-up location for the tour I scheduled was only a short walk to the bus stop. We would definitely stay here again. The staff were all helpful and nice.

An excellent location, the rooms are competitively priced. Wonderful room and the staff were extra helpful and friendly. Very good breakfast buffet. It is worth spending a little more for a room on the water side, as the street traffic was noisy in the early mornings. My room was clean, comfortable and the hotel was safe and extremely convenient. Fantastic stay. Cheers!

although the room was small, it was very clean and modern and made use of the space that was there. A room faced the street, which was quite busy and noisy. We had to open the windows because it was so warm the day that we went, and the room never really did cool off. There’s no air conditioning. But the staff was extremely friendly, it was close enough to the center of town, and it was a wonderful location near the marina for where we have to pick up our ship!
