201 Hotel was an excellent choice for us. Convenient to the highway from the airport as well as easy access to the shopping we needed. The receptionist was very friendly and answered our questions. The continental breakfast was very good - plenty for everyone. It was a little crowded at breakfast due to a large group eating at the same time as us but otherwise very pleasant. Check-in and check-out were easy. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Room was spacious and clean. All reviews on here about breakfast being good is a Lie. No hot breakfast, all they have is bread, ham, cheese and fruits. Some yogurt and some cold hard boiled eggs. Very vague selection, not good at all. If they were to add some hot items, the overall stay here would be excellent. Because the staff, front desk were awesome and very helpful.

Great stay – clean, comfy & solid breakfast!

Stayed for one night and was pleasantly surprised! The room was clean, modern, and cozy – exactly what you want after a long day of travel. The bathroom was well-equipped with everything you need.

Breakfast was generous with plenty of options – from fresh bread and pastries to eggs, fruits, and even some sorts of yogurt and cereals. Definitely a great way to start the day.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, check-in was quick and smooth, and the lobby area had a nice, minimalist vibe.

Location-wise, it’s a bit outside the city center, but you could easily drive to the center of Reykjavik in 15 minutes – and it’s quiet at night, which made for a great sleep.

Would absolutely stay again next time I’m in Reykjavik!

Lo único realmente bueno son los empleados, mención especial para Barbara del turno de día y Mircea del turno de noche. Siempre tiene que haber alguien que desentone y en este caso ha sido Enija que ha hecho todo lo posible para que no volvamos.|El cuarto de baño y aseo carecía de cualquier tipo de repisa para depositar los elementos mínimos. Además el dispensador de jabón liquido para las manos estaba roto.|El dormitorio carecía de armario ni estantería para ropa y solo disponía de dos perchas.|El televisor no funcionaba, aunque trataron sin éxito, de ponerle en funcionamiento.|Supongo que este hotel habrá sido una opción interesante en el pasado, ahora no lo es.

As there were 3 of us, we booked the family room which was spacious & clean with daily housekeeping. Front desk reception, Barbara was very friendly & helpful with information when we checked in & during our 4 days, June 10th to 14th, 2025. Thanks Barb. ||Breakfast was simple & adequate but nothing fancy. Breakfast room was small especially when guests from a tour group arrived on June 12th. It was overly crowded. Definitely short of staff. There’s only one staff working on refilling the various plates of breakfast food, refilling the juice containers & coffee machine. Long queue & wait. I felt sorry for the young man who was definitely overwhelmed with work. Even without the group tour guests, it was still crowded. On our last morning, June 14th, plates of cheese, ham & eggs. were empty. There was no refill when we were having our breakfasts. I could see the staff refilled some items like the juice, coffee machines & the croissants but not the cheese, ham or eggs plates. I assumed they were out of them. Didn’t want to complain to the staff to add stress on them. I see this as a management issue, not the staff working at the breakfast room.

Clean, comfortable hotel with friendly check in and check out. Includes a nice breakfast, with many options (ham, cheese, breads, jams, donuts, yogurt, fruit, juices). Only downside is have to taxi into tourist spots and restaurants, but this could be offset with the cost of the hotel.
